Join innovators supported by Creating Hope in Conflict: a Humanitarian Grand Challenge at the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks event to hear about innovative local solutions driving change. In this event, supported innovators will discuss the importance of shifting power in the humanitarian space, the essential role local responders play, and share insights from their own innovation journeys. We’ll hear from Humam Dawood, Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu, Dysmus Kisilu, Washima Mede, Dr. Iffat Zaraf Aga and James Thuch on delivering effective humanitarian response in areas affected by conflict, as well as how their work is shifting the humanitarian system.

This event will showcase 6 bold innovators, improving access to humanitarian aid in Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Sudan and Syria. From locally producing essential PPE for COVID-19 response, to solar-powered cold stations for 24/7 food storage and preservation, join us on May 20th to hear about these bold solutions and their impact.
